How did you hear or learn about White Lotus Home? After I had my children, eating organic became a priority for me. Sleeping organic had never been something I thought about until I reconnected with Marlon 7 years ago and learned about White Lotus Home. I have to say, I was panicked when I started reading about conventional mattresses and bedding and decided that I would start changing everything we slept on. Since Marlon and I were friends, he helped educate me and decide on what to purchase for my home. Our friendship blossomed into love. I began working at White Lotus about 1.5 years ago and am excited to say, we were just married on August 11th!
What interests you most about the products and why would you suggest them to others? I love that all of our products are natural, that we handmake everything, that we are family owned and operated. I love our transparency and honesty. I love that our customers love us back!
What kind of mattresses and bedding did you own prior to WLH and why did you switch or didn't you? I slept on a conventional mattress with springs that was way too soft and switched to an Organic Latex Core mattress.
Did you always live a healthy lifestyle prior to introducing White Lotus Home to your life? I think I always tried to be healthy by eating right and exercising, however, it was really once I had children that I started searching out Organic and green options.
Which is your favorite Mattress, topper, and Pillow? My favorite mattress is an Organic Cotton and Wool Latex core with an All Latex Topper. Being a side sleeper, I love the bounce back I get from my mattress and how the topper conforms to my hips and shoulders. My favorite pillow is our BuckWool pillow, I sleep on the buckwheat side and the hulls conform to my neck and keep it aligned whereas the wool side gives me the right loft. I can honestly say, I no longer wake up with a stiff neck.
If there was one thing you wish everyone knew about White Lotus Home, what would it be? I wish everyone knew the integrity that White Lotus Home has and adheres to, how we never take shortcuts to make our beautiful products, and how we absolutely LOVE what we do.
Do you feel it is important your children use natural or organic bedding and why? YES!! Their health and safety is my #1 priority, knowing what I know about the risks and side effects of using conventional bedding make me sick.
